Panariagroup Industrie Ceramiche S.p.A. is an Italian multinational group, world leader in the production and distribution of ceramic surfaces for floors and walls. It is present in Italy, Portugal, United States, India, and with sales in over 130 countries worldwide through a wide and capillary sales network.

CHALLENGE

The management of communication materials with all the offices around the world, in addition to external requests (magazines, press offices, newspapers, trade fairs...) an increasingly complex activity, both for the time required to collect the materials and to send them. For this reason, it has become necessary to centralize all the images in a single Digital Asset Management.

SOLUTION

In order to efficiently manage all the company's digital resources (documents, images, files of various kinds), the Digital Asset Management module of eTEAM has been implemented. It became essential to share and transfer any type of communication asset to customers, suppliers, collaborators, partners and other subjects outside the company. 

More than 30,000 assets have been centralized. Customised levels of access and visibility have been created according with the brand to which they belong: technical drawings, photographs set, projects, press...

The characteristic of eTEAM’s Digital Asset Management configured for Panaria is the defined and widespread classification of the assets: each file is associated with numerous text fields, updated daily through an automatic import of Excel files. 

With this configuration eTEAM also performs the function of Product Information Management.
